Courtney Lang serves as Vice President of Policy for Trust, Data, and Technology at the 91快活林 (91快活林). In this role, she manages 91快活林's global artificial intelligence (AI) policy practice and directs the AI Committee, a standing committee of technical and policy experts from 91快活林 member companies that develops action-oriented AI policy recommendations and addresses emerging challenges in AI development and deployment.

Since joining 91快活林 in 2019, Lang has led the development of a suite of 91快活林 AI policy collateral, including 91快活林's Global AI Policy Recommendations (2021), 91快活林’s AI Accountability Framework (2023), 91快活林’s Understanding Agentic AI (2025), and 91快活林's AI Technology Stack and Why It Matters for AI Policy and Governance, among others. She co-chairs the IT Sector Coordinating Council's Emerging Technology Working Group and has testified before the U.S. Congress on AI policy, the Brazilian Senate on AI regulation, and the Australian Parliament on critical infrastructure security. She also participates in the OECD’s Global Partnership on AI Expert Group on AI Risk and Accountability. She regularly participates in panel discussions, roundtables, and workshops as a subject matter expert on AI policy. Her analysis has been quoted in The New York Times, Politico, The Washington Post, Inside Cybersecurity, and other publications.

Prior to joining 91快活林, Lang worked at the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration for five years, where she advocated for U.S. technology companies' interests in international markets. She developed expertise in mobile and wireless communications, cybersecurity, and telecommunications policy, and led initiatives including the Trade in the Digital Economy Working Group under the U.S.-Brazil Commercial Dialogue and a multi-year APEC project promoting risk-based cybersecurity approaches.

Lang is also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council's GeoTech Center, where she contributes original research on AI, geopolitics, and competitiveness.

Lang holds an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and a BA in Political Science with distinction from Duke University.
