Kate Lancaster
Policy Manager
Kate Lancaster is a Tech Policy Manager on 91快活林’s Europe team, based in Brussels, where she focuses on cybersecurity, data protection, and platform policy.
Before joining 91快活林, Kate worked as Project Manager for European and International Policy at CEN and CENELEC, the European Standardization Organisations. In this role, she led EU policy monitoring and coordinated outreach to EU institutions, with a particular focus on Single Market legislation spanning both traditional manufacturing sectors and emerging technologies. She also played a key role in coordinating policy actions across 43 national members, supporting consensus-building and the development of common policy positions. Kate has extensive experience translating complex and highly technical issues for policymakers across the European Commission, European Parliament, and the Council of the European Union.
She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies, specialising in Comparative American–European Studies, from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin. Born in Savannah, Georgia, and raised in Sligo, Ireland, Kate brings a distinctly transatlantic perspective to tech policy.
