Based in Singapore, Naomi Wilson serves as Senior Vice President of Asia Policy, leading 91快活林’s Asia-Pacific advocacy on areas including U.S.-China policy, regional tech trade, AI, and cyber issues. She works with governments and stakeholders around the world to advance policy solutions that benefit 91快活林 member companies and global innovation. Naomi also serves as the current Chair of the U.S. Information Technology Office (USITO), a Beijing-based tech trade association that 91快活林 co-manages.

Prior to joining 91快活林, Naomi served at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as Acting Director for Asia-Pacific. In that capacity, she led Department policy development and coordination on cybersecurity, law enforcement, and customs cooperation issues related to Asia and served as a senior advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary on China issues. In 2015, she represented DHS in negotiations with the Chinese government to conclude a landmark agreement prohibiting cyber theft of intellectual property for economic means, which was announced by Presidents Barack Obama and Xi Jinping in September 2015.

Prior to joining DHS, Naomi served as a staffer on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs and as a research assistant at the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS).

Naomi is frequently quoted in news outlets, including the New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal, among other publications, particularly on issues related to her areas of expertise in China, trade, and technology policy.

Naomi holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Master’s in International Affairs & National Security. In 2011, she completed intensive Chinese language training at Peking University. Naomi speaks advanced Mandarin and French.
