WASHINGTON – The Information Technology Alliance for Public Sector (ITAPS), a division of the 91¿ì»îÁÖ (91¿ì»îÁÖ), released its today on major contracting legislation passed in 2014 by the 113th Congress. The in-depth ranges from the National Defense Authorization Act, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 Intelligence Authorization Act, five cybersecurity bills impacting how agencies defend their networks—including FISMA reform—and the $1 trillion “CRomnibus” funding the federal government through September 30, 2015, with the exception of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). ITAPS, launched this year, advocated energetically on behalf of the technology public sector on the legislative action items covered in the report being released today.
