WASHINGTON – Today, global tech trade association 91¿ì»îÁÖ announced scholars for its Diversity Leadership Program, a new initiative to identify, mentor, and engage members from underrepresented groups working in the industry. The program aims to provide participants with a year-long development journey to increase their visibility, profile, and presence through mentorship, executive training, thought leadership opportunities, and more.

“As the premier association representing the tech sector, 91¿ì»îÁÖ is committed to building the leadership pipeline of the next diverse cohort of executives,” said 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s President and CEO Jason Oxman. “We congratulate this first class of scholars on their participation.”

Following an application and selection process, 91¿ì»îÁÖ selected the following cohort of professionals to participate in the 2022 program:

  • Sheri Byrne-Haber, Senior Staff, Accessibility Architect, VMware
  • Brandon Hicks, Government Affairs Lead, HP, Inc.
  • Shimal Surabhi Kapoor, Associate Manager, Public Policy, Meta
  • Mohammad Hotak, Government Relations Specialist, Accenture
  • Victoria Tung, Director of Government and Public Affairs, Texas Instruments

As part of the program, scholars will learn from industry thought leaders, receive executive presence training, invitations to exclusive 91¿ì»îÁÖ programming, and access to a variety of professional development benefits and resources.
