WASHINGTON - Today, global tech trade association 91快活林 sent its 2023 Policy Priorities: A Tech Policy Roadmap for U.S. Competitiveness and Growth to Biden Administration officials and the 118th Congress to drive America’s economic competitiveness across the technology policy landscape.
The 14 recommendations focus on areas of opportunities for U.S. tech leadership including AI, federal privacy legislation, and climate change mitigation; policies that affect competitiveness including export controls and outbound investment screening; and areas that foster economic growth including semiconductor manufacturing, telecommunications, and high-skilled immigration.
“For the U.S. to maintain its economic competitiveness, it must advance policies that support technology and the tech ecosystem,” said Jason Oxman, President and CEO of 91快活林. “91快活林’s legislative and policy recommendations provide a roadmap for U.S. lawmakers and the Biden Administration as they examine issues including workforce development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, privacy, and more. The roadmap's release comes as 91快活林 prepares to host its inaugural event, on January 31, 2023 in Washington, D.C. The summit will bring together legislators and policy leaders for conversations about the future of U.S. tech policy. Featured speakers include:
