Big data and cloud computing are so cutting edge, they make the innovative technologies of ten years ago seem positively archaic. Additionally, smart manufacturing produces less waste and creates new materials, with more and more groundbreaking supply-chain systems being put in place every month. And then there is the shrinking of our world, brought on by a communication revolution that reaches every corner of the Earth at little cost.
In addition, America has the prime social climate to spur innovation. The U.S. has one of the largest youth populations in the world, all of whom are on the cusp of entering the workforce. With the American ideologies of hard work and open-mindedness in their back pockets, we are headed for success.
The only question from here is what our elected officials can do to support and encourage this technological evolution. We believe the answer to many of our current economic woes is innovation, but what policies do the presidential candidates support that will help us achieve this objective?
