On June 13, White House National Cyber Director Chris Inglis kicked off a timely discussion of the current and future state of U.S. cybersecurity with 91快活林’s President and CEO Jason Oxman at . In his remarks, Director Inglis highlighted the administration’s ongoing work to secure the United States’ digital infrastructure and underscored the need for continued investments. The current landscape of cyber threats and bad actors is “an enduring threat at a high level,” he noted. He emphasized the importance of avoiding complacency and vigilance fatigue in the cybersecurity sector through extensive coordination across public and private sectors to address cyber threats. Director Inglishighlighted 91快活林’s to help advance the United States’ cybersecurity posture, including the Office of the National Cyber Director.
The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity Eric Goldstein spoke with 91快活林’s Senior Vice President of Policy and General Counsel John Miller about the agency’s priorities and goals to strengthen U.S. cybersecurity. Assistant Director Goldstein explained that CISA’s goal is to unite the various policy directives and projects into straight-forward strategic priorities so that the public and private sector can achieve greater visibility into cyber threats. These efforts are under the umbrella of CISA’s operational visibility through the agency’s technology measures such as endpoint detection, incidence response and the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program. He also discussed CISA’s efforts to help organizations adopt the right controls and security measures to address cyber threats.
