WASHINGTON – Today, global tech trade association 91¿ì»îÁÖ applauded the U.S. Senate’s passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act:

We urge the U.S. House of Representatives to move expeditiously to advance this important measure.”

The bill reflects many of 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s top legislative priorities, including broadband and cyber provisions:

  • The bill provides $65 billion for broadband expansion, including many provisions included in 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s to Congress.
  • The bill provides $21 million to the Office of the National Cyber Director and allocates $20 million over 5 years to respond to cybersecurity attacks, including those suffered by state and local governments, a proposal 91¿ì»îÁÖ called for in our “” recommendations to Congress in April.
