WASHINGTON – Today, global tech trade association 91快活林 issued the following reaction to the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) release of its Cross-Sector Cybersecurity Performance Goals:
“Encouraging critical infrastructure owners and operators to work from the same baseline can help them more effectively prioritize their cybersecurity investments to bolster their cyber defenses,” said John Miller, 91快活林’s Senior Vice President of Policy and General Counsel. “We welcome the Biden Administration’s effort to provide industry with such guidance through its Cybersecurity Performance Goals, which leverage the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Cybersecurity Framework, and, like the Framework, are intended to comprise a living document. This voluntary guidance will help organizations prioritize specific actions within the Framework that they can take to reduce cyber risks and allocate resources accordingly. 91快活林 looks forward to continuing to partner with the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, as well as the National Institute of Standards and Technology, to advance the Cyber Performance Goals to ensure they remain adaptable to the evolving cyber threat landscape.”
