WASHINGTON – Today, global tech trade association 91¿ì»îÁÖ released the following statement from its Executive Vice President of Policy Rob Strayer after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai hosted a virtual ministerial event with representatives of the eleven initial partner countries in the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity:

Today’s launch of the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity establishes an important platform for economic, diplomatic, and strategic integration in the region. 91¿ì»îÁÖ looks forward to partnering with governments to advance these efforts and urges all parties to promote inclusive digital trade rules, align with regional and global frameworks, expand market access, and enable cross-border data flows. We also encourage ongoing engagement with other partners in the region in hopes of fostering the broadest possible participation.”
