WASHINGTON – Today, global tech trade association 91快活林 highlighted its membership in the Department of Commerce’s U.S. AI Safety Institute Consortium (AISIC), the first ever consortium dedicated to the safe and responsible deployment of AI. Housed under the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) U.S. AI Safety Institute, the AISIC will unite tech industry experts, policy innovators, AI developers and deployers, government researchers, and civil society organizations and advise on key AI policy action items, including implementation of U.S. President Joe Biden’s Executive Order on AI.

Since its establishment in U.S. President Biden’s Executive Order, 91快活林 has been a key supporter of the U.S. AI Safety Institute. The Institute is intended to advance research, evaluation, and standards on AI safety and trust, supporting key efforts to establish a trustworthy foundation for AI development and deployment as envisioned in the Executive Order. It will also leverage public and private expertise to develop a roadmap for some of the most advanced types of AI technology.
